Views of the Grandes Jorasses
Nights in high-altitude refuges
Crossing 3 countries
Col de la Seigne at 2516 m
The classic circuit around the Mont Blanc massif, crossing three countries and ten passes.
The Tour du Mont Blanc is the classic Alpine trek: eight days in which Europe's highest massif never leaves your sight, changing face at every pass. You sleep in refuges, cross Italy, France and Switzerland, and get to know Mont Blanc from every possible angle, something no postcard can capture.
It's demanding but accessible to anyone who has already hiked multiple consecutive days at altitude: the pace is built for enjoying the views, not just covering distance.
